While there are many ways to create desktop apps for computer operating systems, web developers might wish to create desktop applications using web technologies that they are familiar with. Now thanks to TideSDK, web developers can do precisely that.Source
Just browsing through the web and found this as the chrome extension plus a desktop app. Thought this might come in handy.
CSS-Shack is a Chrome Web / Desktop App , which allows you to create Layers Styles (just like you would in any other image editing software), and export them into a single CSS file.
I was playing around with jQuery in my recent project. I wasn’t quite clear about the difference between ‘live’ and ‘delegate’ events handling . So asked my best friend google and it gave me quite a list of results. Went through these list and found a best explanation in ‘http://www.jquery4u.com/’Source

Recently I had a problem with these when I was animating using adobe edge animate. Google search through google took me into this Paul Irish blog where he had done some debugging to find the difference between two.Source
This post should be titled “Getting Ahead of Yourself.” “…By a Few Years,” actually. Here’s the deal: at the time I’m writing this, early 2013, there’s no way to accurately design for the Web using physical units, nor will there be for a very long time. But there is a way to design while knowing the physical characteristics of the device — or, at least, there will be in the very near future.Source
Dutch beer brand Heineken has introduced its first interactive beer bottle, which uses micro sensors and wireless networking technology to sense the moment when a bottle is being used to say “Cheers”.
The bottle can also actively respond to music, and the output of specific audio and data cues.
For example, it can detect various motion types such as cheering, drinking and sitting idle on the bar top. The motions trigger certain light effects, lighting up the entire bottle.
“Next to that the bottle lights can be remotely activated, so that each bottle becomes an active light source controlled by specially developed VJ software, allowing to synchronise all bottles to the music beat,” Heineken says.
If beer bottles can become interactive, what other items can?Source
